Steamboat Vision Clinic to the rescue! I was camping in Steamboat and got a little dehydrated, I now know that dehydration + altitude = corneal abrasion. If you've never had one of those before, they're extremely painful. I walked into the office on Monday morning around 8:45. Explained what was going on and was able to very quickly see the doctor who made me feel very comfortable. Dr. Jason was able to quickly understand what was going on, calm my nerves and get me on my way. His assistant was awesome (I wish I caught her name), very friendly and gave us a great recommendation for breakfast! All and all they took what was a very traumatic experience for me and handled it with ease. Great patient experience! If anyone ever needs to go to the eye doctor while in Steamboat, this is your place!
