Very pleasant experience. The staff was super friendly and courteous! It was a quick trip even! I've lived in a couple of other states and this was an excellent visit. There was absolutely no stress in that building. It was very clean and organized. It was great!

If I could I would post a zero. Wow! The nerve of these people! The website clearly states that the licensing center is open until 4:30 p.m. I arrived at 4:10 to transfer title and get tabs on a vehicle. Surprisingly there were only two people in there at the moment and four open windows. My lucky day! Nope! One of the clerks asked if they could help and I told them I was there to get tabs and transfer a title and the woman with a very snarky attitude said, "we don't do that after 4, you will have to come back a different day." I replied that, "I was unaware of this and asked if it was posted anywhere out on the website to at least warn of this apparent rule." She said it is something that is known and that was all. So, since I had nothing better to do now till my ride came back at 430 I decided to sit down and go through the webpage just to see if I missed something. Nope, nowhere on any of the service center sites does it say anything along the lines of you will not get helped if you arrive after 4 o'clock. While I was looking through the site it is worth noting that 3 other people were turned down service as well. One person was able to get done what they needed to do. So basically from 410 until 426 when I was told to go wait outside and that security was waiting outside for me, they helped one person and turned down for people. Like I said, yes I was told to leave with the threat of security because I was "crazy" enough to ask why they would turn down people who need assistance in order to do nothing. Yes nothing. They turned down four people, and there were FOUR CLERK'S! I can't believe how I was treated. All I did was point out that nobody was there, there was no line, and yet they were turning people down for a rule that doesn't exist. I guess I also had the audacity to tell them that if they are going to enforce such a rule with that great of vigor, then maybe they should let the public know that such rule exists. Not everybody can just make it into the licensing center on a whim, any day. On top of that, Stearns county is relatively large. There are people who drive long distances to get here and for some lazy, entitled, government worker to refuse to do their job for that person for no good reason at all is despicable. I AM NOT BEING UNREASONABLE. I admit, I am a little bit more angry than I should be, but then again, i myself went through alot to get here before they closed. And then because I disagreed with how they think they can just treat people like trash cause they have that little iota of power, I was threatened with security??? Are THESE people nuts?? Geeze. My ride just got here finally. I had to wait longer than I was supposed to for it, sitting on a bench outside the courthouse typing this rant. The whole while two security guards from the building I was in stared and kept pointing at me cause now I guess I'm not allowed on public property or something. I'm not even on the same street anymore as the service center building and have only looked up from my phone when I hear these st. Cloud meat heads making their clicking and groaning noises.These people need to get a life seriously.

I talk to one of staff, she was rude and arrogant. Racism plays a big role but they can do better job by hiding their racism n put fake smile on their face

Every time I've been there the staff has been as nice and as helpful as they could. Of course they can only work within the DMV's rules so I won't get mad about bureaucratic processes to the workers. The building is also modern and clean with an excellent view.

Looks like some on here don't like the state laws on tabs..., I have lived in 4 other states and this is by far the most comfortable, friendliest and most efficient ran vehicle registration office I've been to. I've had some miserable waits in dingy rooms with rude people before..., (I'm looking at you MO).., State laws can be a pain, but no fault of any one at the DMV
