We love this spot. Great for kids and family. You can BBQ on top but not at the beach. We usually take stuff to make sandwiches and have a couple of beers.

Awesome on hot days. Not too crowded on the river but parking can be a challenge.

I hear this is a good spot to poke your boat in for fishing... They open their gates at sunset however. If we ever had rain the river would be even better.  Not much here except people clambering for the natural shade and lots of drinking or Mexican families.
