Story

Stephanie K. Gonzalez is a native of Fort Worth Texas and understands the people, heritage, and growing needs of the citizens of Texas.

Her professional law enforcement career began in May 1977 with the City of Grapevine Police Department. Moving up the ranks through the department for over 22 years, she was the first Hispanic Officer, Detective, Sergeant, and Lieutenant. She attended college and earned three (3) degrees while working full-time and raising a family.

Stephanie began her higher education with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice in May 1986 and a Master of Art's Degree in Urban Affairs in May 1989.

She is a graduate of Texas A&M University School of Law (formally known as Texas Wesleyan University School of Law) January 1998 with a Doctor of Jurisprudence/Juris Doctor (J.D.).

After retiring from the City of Grapevine in May, 1999, she began her law career as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Lewisville. Beginning February of 2003, Stephanie opened her private law practice. Being bilingual in English/Spanish has proven to be of benefit to a many of the Hispanic population in Northeast Tarrant County. Her reputation as a successful litigation attorney precedes her and is a strong representation of the integrity, professional, and personal care Stephanie brings to people at a time in which there is much distress.
