Very small park. The slide is the only thing shaded. The little ride toys are so hot it's hard for kids to ride them in the daytime, during summer the slide is really fast for small kids. That's about the only thing fun about the park. It does have a nice Pavillion to eat lunch at.
Nice park. The youngsters loved it. The rocketship slide brought back some good memories and again the kids loved it. Highly recommend the Edmond museum. They have a whole town set up inside for the kids to learn about early frontier life. The bank has money, the market has food to buy. Really cool. Can't wait to go back.
Been sliding down that rocket slide since the 70's. Now my kids and grandkids have slid down it. I wish I could take it home with me. A slide you can't slide down, only look at, seems lame. Ijs.
Very cute and well put together. Not exactly a exciting place to take ur kids but a nice one for walking, playing some tennis or taking your date after you eat at one of the restaurants across the street. Can't wait to see what the remodel of the park is going to look like.
Just like to rest here, while watching those cute dinosaur in the playground, with the matching rochet shape slides. I guess the kids would really love to play here.
Not much of a playground. Vintage, Throwback Rocket slide takes me back. I visited on a Saturday afternoon and was entertained as I watched a good sized group of nerds battle it out with nerf-esque medieval weapons.
Great place for the kiddos to run around -- - good amount of shade for the summer heat between loads of trees and the picnic pavilion. My little one loves the rocket ship! Although I hear it is being retired :
Plaque says this was once "one of the most beautiful parks in the state." Either the plaque lies or the city let this park fall into serious disrepair. There is a small playground, some picnic tables, and tennis/basketball courts. However the area was very flooded and boggy, the grills were all cemeted over so they couldn't be used, and the entire space needed some TLC. Do yourself a favor and go to Hafer a few blocks away instead.
Nice little park. It has an old school rocket tower/slide little kids love. There's lots of shade and restaurants right across the the street.
Great little park with a cool little rocket slide.
