I love this place. Great people and hair results.

Rachel, the masseuse, gives a great massage! It's relaxing, and she makes an individualized plan of care for each person.

I was so unhappy with my experience to say the least. First, they moved out of their clean modern space still while still having their old space advertised. When I went to my appointment I found I had to now go to the trailer in the back of the parking lot. I had a team that was not professional by sharing their problems in our "comfort zone" as well as the team loudly do business dealings. One staff member doing the service did not even speak to her client. I definitely was not pampered as I was trying to find nail polish on the floor, was not taught how to work the massage chair, and was finally offered water at the end of my service. The space was not modern and was falsely advertised. It was so small it was impossible to relax and people were constantly walking by and you could hear everything that was going on. I felt more stressed after the service. It was not clean and even had an abundance of electrical cords in the pathway. I also booked my appointment way in advance which gave the business plenty of opportunity to contact me with their "new" salon that did not have the promises made on their website. If you want a trailer park pedicure at a salon price then this is the place for you.

The first time I came in was to get a peel. I worked with Christine she was nice and the results were good but she walked in the front door right as our appointment should have started. I didn't think much of it at the time because sometimes people run late, no big deal. I came in today and she walks in to the salon two minutes after our start time and tells me to hold on while she warms up the table. I turned around and walked out. There is no way I'm going to give my money to someone or sit through a service when I am upset. I work in the service industry as a massage therapist and rule of thumb is to be in 15 minutes before your appointment so that everything is set up and prepared at start time. It's not that hard to show up to work and be prepared for your client. Also the place doesn't seem to be the cleanest. I sat and stared at a dirty nail tech table the whole time I was waiting for my late esthetician.

I like my hair cut by someone who cuts with confidence and knows what I want. Mark is that guy. When I first moved to Boise nine years ago, I frequented the small chain salons looking for a good stylist. I’d end up with military buzz cuts or uneven lengths. I’m a guy with short hair so it shouldn’t be that hard. I finally started going to Mark. He cuts it just right every time and I don’t have to worry about what I’ll look when I leave. Stepping Stones is always very clean and professional and does a great job with appointment reminders. I’ve been going to Mark for years and will definitely continue!
