Great School!!! Made friends easily because everyone's like me. Nice teachers and they explain the lessons so nicely. Amazing! 5 stars! Phenomenal! EADY. I'm going into fifth grade and I'm actually excited to meet all my the teachers. Greaaaattttttttt!!!!!!!! Good luck to all the new students reading! Have fun(it'll be easy)

Words can not express how much this school has changed my life for the better. When I came into CTC in third grade, I was an awkward child with no friends, and not much ambition even though I read more and perhaps learned better than my classmates at my former school. I finally felt like a had found a home, a place to fit in. A place where no one was going to make fun of me for not enjoying sports or "reading too much". I have met some of the best friends I have ever made, and possibly some of the best I ever will. After graduating from Eighth Grade in 2017, I am infinitely more confident, knowledgeable, and gregarious, and I would like to think that I am much more compassionate. Almost all of the teachers are amazing at their jobs, and it's clear that they care very deeply about all their students learning knowledge and what to do with that knowledge. Signing up to go to CTC was undoubtedly the best descision I have ever made in my life, and although leaving my school that I was familiar with sounded uncomfortable, I knew by the first week of third grade that I could not have made a better choice. For the rest of my life, I will remember CTC fondly as the first place where I had true friends and fit in with a community. Thank you to all the teachers and students at CTC for making the best experience possible for gifted students. If you are considering sending your child to this school, and they are bored in their classes and never truly fit into their school, they will find an accepting community and a fast-paced, fascinating curriculum. They will be changed from the inside-out.

Sorry for the rant, I'm pretty passionate about this school ;-)

This is my first year because I got excepted in the C.T.C. program starting in 3rd grade. My teacher Ms. Emmel is the best 3rd grade teacher in the history of grade 3 teachers. I am going to 4th grade next year and my teacher has completely prepared me. And I love her. I have the best art and music teachers, Mrs. Dean(My art teacher) and Mrs. Ledford (My music teacher).  I have had the best time. I will miss Mr. Johnstone and Mrs. Dean.

I love it here! I think that the curriculum is challenging, but the teachers are nice (especially Mr. Burdick and Mrs. Johnston). Great for gifted students.
