I have called Steven Borel twice after searching online and finding him to be an attorney near where we lived. Both times I was pleasantly surprised to find Mr. Borel answered the phone himself and was willing to discuss the details of our issues without requesting we come in and/or hire him beforehand. We are still not sure if we will need an attorney but I can tell you that if we do, Mr. Borel will be number one on our list. The information he has given us already has gone a long way to help us understand our rights and obligations under the WC laws. He has also helped us to understand how long term disability, and social security disability works in conjunction with WC. Many thanks to Mr. Borel for putting our minds at ease as we navigate doctors, company representatives (think lawyers), applications for disability and the workers comp. laws in our state.  ~The Robinsons

My wife suffered a carpal tunnel injury at work and unfortunately there were some misunderstandings which forced us to consult an attorney.  My brother (an attorney himself) recommended Steven Borel.  We followed my brother's advice and are extremely glad that we did.  Besides being a very good attorney -- Mr. Borel is an honest, warm and caring human being.

I can't speak highly enough about how helpful he was in helping my wife and I deal with all the legal complexities required to give an effective deposition, deal with other attorneys, find a doctor who is truly willing to help in these kinds of cases, etc. With Mr. Borel's help we were able to come to a reasonable and amicable settlement and avoid going to court which pleased all involved.
