If I could give this business zero stars, I would. My husband bought me valentines days flowers here for three consecutive years and each year he purchased was an attempt to give them a chance to make up for shoddy service the previous year but coming on year three, we have had it. One dozen long stemmed roses cost nearly $100, poorly organized in a vase with some flowers much shorter and some much longer. It is as if they did not care. Aside from the hideous arrangement (how could you mess up roses?!) they died within 2 days. By the end of the day half of the rose tops were hanging and by the second day they were all hanging, limp and lifeless. Two of the three years my husband gave a specific pick up time request and both times when he arrived for pick up, he was told to come back in two hours. Each time he returned they were extremely rude with a piss poor attitude. The people at this florist are extremely unprofessional, uncaring and just simply unaccommodating. I wouldn't be surprised if this was another Wilton business closing shop.

I just placed a large order over the phone with Annabel Green Flowers, which is another florist in Wilton that competes with Stewart Flowers & Gifts. The order needed some patience because of the special message I wanted to include with the flowers going to my sister. The young lady at Annabel Green Flowers taking the order could not have been nicer or more patient. It is this type of personable service that is a delight. However, what is important to note is that my first call for the order went to Stewart Flowers & Gifts. They failed miserably. The women at Stewart's expressed frustration to me about the length of my message, which was four sentences long, and failed to grasp the meaningfulness and specialness of the order. I offered to pay for a card and to have the four sentences hand written on the card. It was such a disappointing experience. When there is a special occassion or moment that also requires some self-awareness and appreciation of attention to detail in order to serve a customer, my experience with Stewart Flowers & Gifts is an example of how not to do it. Call Annabel Green Flowers instead.
