In 2009 I was referred to Gina Stillwell by another attorney regarding a labor law issue involving a former employer. Working with Gina was an excellent experience under the circumstances. She was extremely transparent in every respect. Anytime I had a question she was available. She was honest with me at every step of the process and helped me keep my perspective relative to the facts. Never once did Gina mislead me; she consistently presented our options in a straightforward and objective manner. We were able to resolve the lawsuit with a better than expected result. The day I walked into Gina's office, I knew almost immediately, I had found the attorney I had been looking for to represent me in a "David vs. Goliath" type situation.  She was actually the third firm I had visited, but the first I felt totally comfortable with in discussing my case.  I immediately felt like I was discussing my problem with someone that was "listening", instead of someone that was more interested in, "sign here, give me your deposit, I'll call you in a couple of weeks", type operation.  Her office had a very comfortable feeling to me.
 
My case was a very complex "wrongful termination" suit against a very large national company.  We won our first trial (damages of $1 Mil), went through an appeal,and then won the second trial on liability.  Finally, before presenting the damages to the jury in the second trial, the “Goliath” offered an acceptable settlement offer.  My trial lasted 5 weeks (3-day weeks) and the entire process took almost 5 years - which Gina, time and time again was 100% with me in moving forward and pursuing an acceptable offer.  The fact that neither of us "backed off" for a ridiculous or "low balling" settlement was why I felt we were a good team to battle the "giant".  Most of the usual "stressors" like depositions, jury selection, 3 days of testimony, appeals, another trial, etc., were all very expertly explained and handled by Gina. I couldn't have been happier with my choice of attorney.  Her years of experience on the other side of the courtroom as a defense attorney in employment issues, was a major deciding factor in selecting her, and that was a very smart move on my part!  She had answers and rebuttals to everything they threw at us.  Working with Gina is like going to battle with a very good friend beside you! Tom P.

We selected Gina because of her deep concern for our case and justice. We had reviewed a few offices before choosing Gina and her associate Julie. They shared our pain equally and made our case come to a fair and just settlement. Gina and Julie are great listeners.They processed what we had to say and used  tremendous vision applying our information to a terrific settlement.Both Gina and Julie are very professional and totally committed to the clients interest. Throughout this entire process they would get us together and conference us in so that we were always informed on any and all activity in our case.
