This is a nice Independent Business and I enjoy going there because I get to see some cool animals! Also they have the best selection of fruit flies for my mantis that I need! It's a great price for the amount of feed that I got

Stingers has a lot of exotic pets and supplies, the staff appears knowledgeable, most of the prices are reasonable, and the store is clean.  Stingers is also one of the only places around Detroit that sells pinhead crickets. The pinhead crickets are overpriced, but they don't die as soon as they hit the bag.

Love this place so much, both ladies are really cool. Wish they would let people hold their animals but its understandable why they dont.

If I could give Stingers Exotics a zero star rating, I would!  My wife and two young kids went into Stingers looking to gain information about a bearded dragon as my four year old has been asking for one.  Upon our entry into the store, we were never acknowledged  (we were the only ones in the store, and it couldn't be because they didnt see us, because it's a small store) and when we asked for advice, it seemed as though we were a bother because we were told to go on their Facebook page.  There were signs all over the store asking for donations if you planned on being there just to look around. When we asked if my son could hold a bearded dragon, we were told "we don't allow people to hold our animals and that we would have to buy one, take it home and find out at home if our son likes the animal".  I would not waste your time at this store. I am not a reptile enthusiast, therefor, I am not sure where another reptile store is, but driving to one further away would be well worth your time.

Disappointed with the customer service. Owners were rude and made us feel like we were a bother for asking for general information.
