I caught the flu, but didn't get better after 10 days, so I went to Stitches. Courtney Gordon, MS, PA-C, initially diagnosed me with walking pneumonia and confirmed it with an x-ray. She prescribed antibiotics and I was up and feeling better in 2 days. I'm thankful they gave me medicine which really worked. When you're sick for that long, it is most appreciated to get the right medical advice. The office was clean and they saw me right away.

Thank goodness for health insurance because places like these clinics offer 2nd rate care to those who usually do not have health insurance. The visit cost starts at $130. She prescribed two medications and one of them cost over $200 without insurance. I was terribly misdiagnosed with chicken pox thanks to the PA Courtney. She made it seem so serious and she would have to notify the CDC of my travels. I got a second opinion and blood work done that proved her wrong. I called before the results came back and she disagreed with the second opinion. She said that she was willing to put money on the fact that I had chicken pox. I am upset because: 1. She was not thorough in asking questions before blurting out a misdiagnosis. 2. She scared me thinking I could have infected pregnant women and endangered babies because chicken pox is highly contagious (I know it is). 3. She did not even ask why the second opinion thought it was not chicken pox. 4. She said she would bet money on her diagnosis and she was WRONG! 5. The drugs she prescribed made me feverish, ill, drowsy, and I lost an entire day I could have done school work. 6. I wasted the very little money and time I had on a MISDIAGNOSIS! This is the exact reason why I have serious and deep mistrust issues with "doctors"

The snow and ice in Laramie is winning the fight.... I dug my sons car out of the snow on our Blizzard Monday and my back hurt some after this; THEN the record lows came and the spring on my garage door broke!? In lifting the door to let get our car out I seriously pulled and hurt something in my back, the pain was terrible! I went to Stitches hoping that something could be done because I was miserable and could hardly move!!! The provider who saw me was amazing and she did give me muscle relaxers in the office but then then took the time to talk about other non-medical remedies, ice and heat stretches, wrapping etc. I don't like taking medications and especially not pain meds so I was very appreciative that she took the time to give me other options. I am so grateful to the provider and staff for taking such great care of me!

Horrible experience. Front desk was nice but the doctor did not even know that you can be immune to certain antibiotics? Go back to med school. I said I think I have strep or a sinus infection and he did not test me for strep or even look up my nose. He said he would prescribe amoxicillin, but it does not work for me and I told him it didn't. He said "hmm, I've never heard that, must be way over my head." Would not go back.
