This week Lynne from Stone Soup Concrete travelled  to our house to re finish our 5 year old kitchen island counter top.  Lynne did an amazing job sanding and re sealing the concrete and it looks fabulous.  We are so thrilled that this huge slab of concrete which is the focal point of the kitchen looks as good as the day it was installed.  Stone Soup Concrete is a very small company so be patient when you phone/email looking for an appointment to refinish your concrete.  It is worth the wait and Lynne not only very good at her job but a lovely person as well.

Usually I do not write reviews, but having had the worst possible customer experience with StoneSoup Concrete - or more accurately,  total lack of Customer Service/Product Support - here is my review.  StoneSoup Concrete installed a huge concrete central island into our kitchen 5 years ago which looked absolutely beautiful, but as soon as we started to use the bench it scratched, stained and marked very badly even with the use of chopping boards and place mats to the point of obsession.  We have had the island resurfaced twice and on this third attempt to book a maintenance call to have the bench stripped down and resurfaced, they do not answer their phone, return my calls or my emails.  I have been trying to contact them for 6 weeks.
