I ate at the Stone Table with a group of friends for lunch and it was excellent! I had the chicken salad sandwich with chips and really enjoyed. The pastries were beautiful and made there on the spot. I am diabetic so couldn't eat but on in the group did and said the were excellent! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who may be working or traveling in Monroe. Thank you Matt and Mallory for having such a wonderful place to eat.

This is my new favorite restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. I had the herbivore wisteria and it was so delicious! Hubby had the pulled beef and pimento cheese sandwich. Don't walk, run there as soon as you can. I'll be going back as often as I can.

Do yourself a favor and go to Stone table. Every plate, every item is rustic culinary art. By that I mean nothing is plain or ordinary. It's the best pimento cheese sandwich you've ever had. The shrimp and grits with homemade chips has coarse grits for texture and just a little heat. Everything has been tweaked over the years to be flavorful and balanced. The other reason I love eating there is the creativity facet to the menu. I had the first German styled(!) taco I ever ate and it was amazing. My wife had a vegetarian plate that was very imaginative and sourced native ingredients prepared in a variety of styles. If you are not that hungry or just want dessert then you can experience the amazing desserts and breads made in-house. My favorite are the Lemon bars but the Bread pudding is awesome as well! A variety of coffee is offered including cold brew and butter coffee. And they have a full smoothie bar!! And I just scratched the surface. There are other places in Monroe that are worth going to. But for the skill, the value, the creativity and the atmosphere(the old Secrest Drug store in Historic Downtown Monroe) I'll take Stone Table over any restaurant within the Charlotte area easily. And I've eaten at them all.

My husband and I stumbled upon this amazing place by accident and loved it from the moment we walked in the door, from the warm, kind, knowledgeable staff, menu options and atmosphere to the hand-made carrot cake cupcake and truffle fries. The owner was super cool and amazingly gracious, taking the time to actually come to our table and sincerely talk to us! His mom, a beloved, dear soul & (I believe the crafter of those anointed cupcakes) was delightful and precious. We pleaded with them to open a Charlotte location ASAP. The place was clean, and well lit and the food was fresh and delicious. It was the perfect place for an impromptu date and quickly became one of our favorites. Excellent, amazing service, people and food!

Phenomenal service, atmosphere and food! My parents and I stopped by for lunch, and it was such a treat! I had the daily taco and ended up taking some dessert home, there is only one word to describe their food incredible. Please go try for yourself
