I'm only giving one star because that's the lowest the review lets me. This place is HORRIBLE! I've found RATS in the pockets of sweatshirts, ants everywhere, unmade beds, etc. My loved one is mentally and physically disabled and they mess with them all of the time! They're abusive, they've stolen food from my loved one that I bought. The place always smells horrific! I asked for ice at the nurses station and the nurse YELLED at me. This place is ridiculous. I've seen people feeding the residents, lathargic ones, and the staff SHOVING food in their face! It's HORRID. How do we treat our elderly like this?! It's disgusting. AND it is on the list for The VA. HOW do we treat our VETERANS like this?! This place is HORRIBLE please DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. It breaks my heart to see humans treated like less than.

After having an incredible six years with a family member at Sherrill House, I am being generous giving this facility a 2-star rating. Feels like a dumping ground for people with no options. Trying to move our family member asap!!!
