our 1-day patio job is still not done a month later. and no communication from him. occasional empty assurances of next day completion and then nothing. he was very skilled and fast about cashing checks though. just a warning to others.... An update: he did return to finish laying the stones on the patio. They look good. However, he was supposed to come back to stain some of the concrete between the stones to match the rest (he didn't remember which concrete he used initially. so some patches look different). he was also supposed to better power wash to clean up the job. And was supposed to fix a sidewalk block for which we paid him in advance. its now getting to be about half a year since this began. he still texts promises of coming to finish up but of course is a no-show. at this point, i've moved on as he seems to have moved on (with our money). He may be the best quote you get, but good luck.....you get what you pay for, or perhaps less.
