I love coming here. It has to be one of the cleanest supermarkets.  I come at least 2 times a week. They usually have whatt you need, food is fresh in the produce area and it seems like they keep up with their expired food on the shelves. Only reason I know this is because I usually go for the items in the back of the shelves because of the rotating that they do. I usually use self checkout it's quicker as expected because retail is a dying business and payroll is tight all over. So the 2 to 3 checklanes that they have cashiers for are almost always long lines because it's guests that have abnormal full carts.if you live in the area Carle Place Stop and Shop I would recommend.

I shop here frequently. The lines are not too long, and the staff are very nice. The store is clean and well stocked. The shelf labels and the items are together  (so many stores in the area fail this basic test). The produce is fresh (except for the shallots that seem to be  from the previous century). They have a nice deli with salad and olive bar. The seafood section is a little small,  but well kept. The bakery has a great selection of artisan breads, which I like. Overall, a very good store.

Need to have the handicapped carts easily accessible at each entrance. 
Short cashier lines. Very helpful and pleasant cashier.
Well stocked aisles.
