Today, l went to shop at Orangeburg and l walked into a cashier by name Paul, l did not have enough money to pay for groceries and he smiled and said you have to eat and he paid for the rest of the food. Tears came to my eyes as l see this high school student paying for my food. I will return this kindness in the near future.

The staff is always helpful and the store is meticulous. I usually go in the evenings or late at night so I've never hit a crowd. anytime I haven't liked something or needed to return it the process has been very easy! I prefer It to ShopRite

Have a wide variety of grocery products, separate meat and bakery section. They do sell beer. They have regular deals for affiliated members.

Stop and Shop, Orangeburg, NY is a well - stocked supermarket with a wide selection of the typical items you would find in an American supermarket: Produce, Deli, Meat Counter, Diary Section, Pantry Items, small selection of Toys, Outdoor Items, Closeouts, etc. Stop and Shop, Orangeburg, NY DOES NOT have a dedicated Fish / Seafood Counter, Pharmacy, Digital Printing, Catering, Asian, Hispanic, or Indian Food section (beyond some white - washed items), and it does not offer a Food Buffet, Whole - Foods Style, however it does have a small eat - in area. The clientele are suburban residents, mostly middle - aged or older, with some younger families peppered in. I have not seen "undesirable" customers (aggressive, dirty, snobbish, etc.) The staff can be helpful, but it's really hit or miss, depending on who you speak to. I have yet to see the same face twice, meaning in all my visits to Stop and Shop, Orangeburg, NY, I have never seen the same employee twice. Parking is via private lot, in front of the supermarket and can be described as easy. Employees do not ask if you need assistance to your vehicle. There are infant - holding shopping carts, toy car shopping cats, and standard carts. Stop and Shop offers a Rewards Program, where items are discounted if you provide your name and telephone number, and agree to enroll in their Rewards Program. I've seen savings - ounce per ounce - more competitive that BJs, Costco, or Walmart, but I wouldn't bank on savings in the cleaning or non - perishable section. All in all, a winner.

Good local supermarket. Big plus is there is lots of parking and lines are short. Good selection of organic products. Produce area is clean.
