Rented two units beginning August, 2014. Pros: The office manager, Cindy, is this business' saving grace. Her customer service is top of the line, bar none. Cons: I was locked in behind the gates, twice. The first time, I had to spend the night in my vehicle and wait until the gates could be unlocked at 7:30 a.m.. I had a pet with me that would be health compromised in cold, night time temperatures so I stayed up all night running the car heater, intermittently. The only way out would have been by attempting to scale the wire fence. There are no signs or numbers to contact or information given notifying tenants that the gates will lock them in at a certain time (or ever!) or how to get out or who to call if locked in. The second time, I was one of 12 tenants all locked in prior to the hour designated as closing (7 pm). I was advised after the first incident to call the local P.D. should I ever get locked in. Since I was the only person who had this knowledge, apparently, had I not called the P.D., the other 11 tenants would have been trapped much longer. It took over an hour before the police department would agree to help us, as they didn't think it was their responsibility. And to this day, there are STILL no signs, warnings or notices. The other CON is that there is only one hallway light that illuminates each unit through their respective opened doors. That's it. No outlets to plug in additional lighting. So, the units are almost too dark to work in safely. But, what is inexcusable, imo, is that in my building, the hallway light is programmed to turn off every 10 minutes. I have fallen three times while moving things in my unit because the light went out and I tripped. I lost count of how many things have been broken as a result. When I voiced my concern that I was afraid I would eventually break my neck, my concern was not received well. I was told to purchase a flashlight. I explained that I would then be reduced to lifting boxes with one hand, which wasn't possible. So, it was never resolved. The business offered no apologies for either the lock ins nor the falls I've sustained as a result of their negligence. Cannot recommend this place. Their manager is doing herself an injustice working here.

The best storage facility around!

I rented two large storage units for one month prior to moving house and was told that I would receive a refund if I vacated the unit early. I paid $370 for the second month and moved out nine days later and asked for a refund. I was told it would be mailed to me. I received $20 cleaning fee back. When I called to ask about the early move-out I was told to read the contract. There was "No pro-rated rent on early move-out". So why did they say I would get it? If I had combined the two units and moved out of one I would have received a refund. I wasn't told that either and could have stored things in it but was led to believe that an empty clean unit would entitle me to a partial refund. "The money's gone," I was told by the manager, Judy. "We like to be polite but there's nothing you can do about it. Read the contract." OK so now I'm out over $300 for misinformation believing what I was told Don't believe what they tell you and take the time to ignore the friendly smiles as they explain what the contract says and read it yourself very carefully.

I have been renting a unit hear for about two years and i have never had a problem. The woman in the office is really nice. She went out of her way to answer all my stupid questions and show me multiple units when it was raining out side.
