Very bad. The woman I originally rented the unit from told me she would take my notice of moving out the same day I was moving in as I only needed the unit for a short period. Come time to leave that woman no longer worked there. I was then informed I had to fill out a 30 day notice of separation. Needless to say, it was an easy way of getting another $117 from me for a month I didn't need. Never again will I do business with this company and I suggest you don't either.

Without a doubt this is the sleaziest self store operation I have ever encountered. My rental rate has increased 6 times (without notice) in the last 11 months. It increased from $290/month to $450/month today. Customer service is shoddy and hostile at best and all complaints are met with "it comes from corporate" I can't help you. When I contacted corporate (Matt Van Horn) and asked questions he said he would look into it but never contacted me. I would not recommend this rip off to any one.

We had our trailer with equipment parked in the open space lot, thinking this was secure and smart storage area.  Obviously anyone who leaves things in a yard with a fence around it and an automatic gate you would think this would be deterrent enough to keep the thieves out.  Also the entrance had cameras and a security code to document who comes and goes from the storage.  We had $20k in equipment stolen from that location, constantly had issues with the gate not opening or always being left open.  People capable of following people behind the vehicle in front when they go through the gate.  So someone came through the gate memorial day weekend, had access through the gate or followed someone through, drove past the cameras, knocked a trailer lock of our trailer, hooked a truck to the trailer, the person had to have a code to get out of the gate, pass the camera and leave with all of our equipment.  We contact storeSMART and all of sudden the cameras didnt work.  The cameras do not show anyone leaving and apparently are only for use for the storesmart.  We have our own clients, and if they arent happy then we arent happy.  The storesmart place likely has something to do with our items being stolen.  How would someone get access in and out and the cameras dont work at the time of the items being stolen?
