Story

Storybook Gardens is open daily through the spring and summer months. Storybook is an amazing place for young children to explore, discover, and play. Summer season features include daily entertainment on our outdoor stage, themed playgrounds, slides and climbers, a miniature play village, learning garden, sand play area, pedal cart track, splash pad, and six amusement rides.

The 2017-2018 Storybook Gardens outdoor winter skating season is scheduled to open on the first weekend in December, weather permitting. Our winding refrigerated 250 skating track offers beautiful outdoor skating six days a week from December through to the end of February. Take a break to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate and a fresh hot Beavertail pastry from our rink-side Beavertails location. Private site rentals are available for corporate and group functions. Skate rentals are also available.

So much fun! I went with my one year old, he's just walking and he loved running through the miniature village. It was a weekday in the beginning of October when we went and we were one of three families there, so it was like we had the place to ourselves. However, many of the attractions were closed so I don't think I would come at this time of the year again. Will definitely be returning!

great place for little kids.  easy to get around.  not too big, not overly crowded in the fall. easy parking and just an effortless, stress free day out with the kids

This was an absolutely fantastic day for little kids. My 4-year-old and 2-year-old had a wonderful time. They have a miniature village, pedal carts with a track, a big bouncy pillow, a huge slide and multiple play structures, as well as a fantastic splash pad and sand play area.  They also have amusement-style rides (a bit expensive) and regular amusement park style food (also on the expensive side). The park does allow outside food to come in. There are lots of areas to sit in shade and chairs around the splash pad. 

 But what was really great were the staff. The employees are all young adults, but are very friendly and engaging with the children. I was super impressed by the way they talked to and entertained my children, and kept them safe when older, more aggressive children were around. Although some of the structures are a little on the old side, the staff's friendly demeanor is more than enough to keep us coming back.

Place was a lot of fun.  Prices were amazing!  Only thing that they need is a liquor license

This place is so cute. Our 4 year old had a great time and couldn't stop talking about it for a week now. Will definitely visit again soon! I recommend bringing your own food because the selection there isn't very big although very reasonably priced. Probably best for kids under 7 though.
