Story

Owned by the husband-and-wife team, Dan Locche and Brenda Alesii, Straight Up Wines & Liquors opened in December 7, 2012. Driven by a desire to provide a clean, well-stocked store with top-notch customer service, Brenda and Dan, both Buffalo natives, strive to offer a well-rounded selection of wine, spirits, cordials and champagne. While the store is large enough to accommodate a wonderful selection, it is not a place that requires a long walk from the parking lot or hours traversing the aisles. Located at the corner of a Elmwood and Washington in Kenmore, Straight Up is open seven days a week, with extended hours on Friday and Saturday.

This is a fabulous #liquor store in the heart of #Kenmore with a staff that actually knows what they are talking about when you have a question.  They just celebrated their 5th anniversary at the corner of Elmwood Ave & Washington Ave., and they will be here for a long time! They update their Facebook page daily with new products and events that are going on. From free wine tastings to paint nights, there' always something going on. Not only are the prices reasonable, you can also save by enrolling in the savings club which gives you points for each purchase; Accumulate enough points and get money off future purchases...free booze!  Love this place!

This store and it's entire staff go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy! They also have a super generous rewards program.  The selection is very extensive & affordable and they'll even order something if they don't carry it. It's my only go to liquor store for all these reasons and more.

If you don't hear then say hi when you come in then you must have come in through a window! They are so friendly here. The choices are not over whelming but still enough to try something different each time. They have a reward program if you are a going to be a regular. They have monthly events too, get on their mailing list to find out more.
