Come to Stranded Beauty Bar where you come first. Proudly serving the community under the Stranded Beauty Bar name for 11 years and in the business of doing hair for over 20.
Right when you walk in you will feel relaxation and peace of mind taking over while you sip on wine, beer, soda, coffee, tea, or water, as you wait for your stylist to greet you. Our friendly staff is always warm, welcoming and fun loving while keeping your best interests in mind.

The first person you will meet is Penny.  She runs the salon.  Penny is amazing.  

I have been seeing Roxanne the owner for several years.  She first fixed someone's else botched hair color.  
I have been i loyal client ever since.  

I also like that her assistant. Michael can step in do color and cuts etc under her direction if she is booked.  

Love this salon everyone that works there is great.

Jason is the best! He modestly said he doesn’t claim to be a curly hair specialist and then proceeded to give me the best hair cut in all my 26 years of curly hair ownership. Also he’s super nice, and gave me a bunch of recommendations for local restaurants. Plus beer. Plus everyone who works here is very sweet. What’s not to love!

Hands down the BEST salon I’ve ever been to. From the beautiful beachy location with easy parking, to the very thorough receptionist with mimosa greetings in hand, the hospitality is on point. The salon is beautiful- tastefully painted and always has inspiring local artwork to view. Over the years Roxann has been a master with my neurotic light to dark hair moods always giving me the color I want with maintaining the integrity of my hair. Whether she uses foils or balayage for a more natural look she’s a scientist with a sense of humor. It’s a hair appointment with a comedic relief! Her cuts and blowouts leave you feeling like a movie star AND she rocks the curly hair like no one can. All the stylists at Stranded are phenomenal- talented and sweet. I love the family vibes. Grew up in Santa Cruz and I’ll never get my hair done anywhere else!
