Story

Mike and Jane Strojny started Strojny & Strojny Financial Services in 1975. Mike and Jane began their business by preparing their neighbors’ tax returns on their kitchen table. The fledgling business soon outgrew the kitchen table and the Strojny home office was relocated to a spare bedroom. In 1986, with both children attending elementary school, Mike and Jane built an office building in the Petit Bois shopping center in Biloxi. They opened their first office with two computers: an Apple for Mike and an IBM for Jane, with tax and accounting software uploaded from floppy disks. With a brand new building and the newest technology available, client growth increased. To keep up with the demands, Mike and Jane hired a small staff and opened a new office on Pass Road in Biloxi.

Fun Fact: Strojny & Strojny Financial Services was the first tax preparation company on the Mississippi Gulf Coast to electronically file tax returns with the IRS. Since then, the Strojny business has expanded to six locations on the Gulf Coast! In the summer of 2008, nearly ten years after the first "Strojny" building was completed in Biloxi, construction began on the second phase of the building. Upon realizing the true growth of the business and need for more room, Mike and Jane decided to relocate the entire staff to the new building.

Strojny & Strojny's business has grown to not only include tax and accounting services, but business consultations, financial services, insurance, and mortgage services. The professionals at Strojny & Strojny work with thousands of businesses and individuals across the country to assist in their financial needs. With over 100 years of combined experience working with the Internal Revenue Service and various tax authorities, the professionals at Strojny & Strojny are ready to handle any business owner’s or individual’s financial issues.
