I am very particular about food; especially when it comes to the overall nutritional content of the dish. I have been to a lot of seafood restaurants that are filled with fried fish and dishes oozing with butter. I was so happy with the Boathouse - every dish we ordered was flavourful, perfectly cooked, and made with quality ingredients. The kids menu even offered seared salmon (it's rare to find healthy food on kids menus). I did not try a dessert or any wine though. I can't wait to go back.

I was disappointed after being told happy hour was 2pm to six pm. On Friday 9/1 I brought my staff and we sat at bar which I was told you had to sit at to get happy hour pricing. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Nothing was discounted and drinks were $8.00 a piece. Bill for six people was 206$ . Drinks were 8.00 a piece. I manage a hotel in town and know this was not at all a good happy hour price. I'll go elsewhere next time

Great restaurant, great food, friendly and helpful staff. The weather was nice so we took advantage of their outdoor seating with a nice view of the water. (They also have indoor seating.)

Great location. Great Atmosphere. Terrible Service. Small portions. I took a picture of our reciept and our server, Mary Taylor was horrible. She was rude to us. I ordered a drink off of their menu and she literally said, "That's what you are calling it?" Well, that's what your menu says. Then she didn't bring us any silverware, we had to ask the gentleman that brought our food. We also heard her being just a rude to another table. He ordered a beer that she wasn't certain they had and she said, "I have no idea sir!" Terrible waitress. As for portion sizes, my wife and I both ordered Swordfish. It came with green beans and mashed potatoes for $28. I counted 10 green beans on my plate. The food taste good, but we were both finished within 10 minutes because the portions were small. I absolutely do not recommend this place to anyone. We are local and have found many other restaurants that are far better. The drinks were good. We spent over $160 on our night because we sat at the bar for an hour waiting on our table. Wow. $$$$

Their tuna stack is the best! We drive 1.5 hours to eat at BH at least twice every month.
