My family has always been treated very well here. The staff is great and they are constantly improving the facilities. The cafeteria is great. The most difficult thing about Sturdy is it can be a bit confusing to navigate the buildings, but there are helpful signs at the end of almost every hall.

The Speech Therapy department is a joke... bordering on a scam. Their idea of "therapy" is simply giving the patient a list of words to recite and sending them on their way. NO evaluation, NO remedy, and NO INSIGHT INTO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM!!! Repeat visits produced no progress and, worse, no reason to believe any would be forthcoming. Also, despite three requests for a 'status card' to verify my condition to law enforcement should it be misinterpreted as a lack of sobriety, I received nothing ( despite being told that obtaining one would be no problem). I am not sure if Cara is the only therapist that is staffed at Sturdy, but my experiences with her left me convinced that this so-called speech therapy leaves much to be desired, and is not simply a waste of time, but a slap in the face to patients expecting professional care.

I have had Major Surgery at Sturdy hospital on 2 occasions. I had excellent care both times. The staff was freindly and attentive. I would highly recomend Sturdy for all your hospital needs.

I experienced a caring and competent staff and clean facilities. The food is decent too.

In and out of the ER in 20 minutes. It was about 1 in the morning so that definitely made a difference. Going back to the ER for a unrelated reason today so I will update after the visit.
