Amy decorated a room for me back in 2010. She did an awesome job understanding exactly the look I wanted, despite my vague directions. She was able to do amazing things within my teeny tiny budget, and she did it astonishingly fast. Her fee was incredibly reasonable.

I want to express my opinion for Style by Design. Amy was the designer in my Daughters wedding in June 2011 and she did a fabulous job.  The decor and arrangement of our vintage collection of decorations were beautiful.  I give Style by Design a 10 star approval ratting.

I was lucky enough to have met Amy, with Style by Design about 8 months before our wedding. At that time, I was planning to do everything myself with some help from my florist who had put together holiday events that I had attended throughout the years. Around the time that I met Amy, I was beginning to feel overwhelmed of all that I had ahead of me, not to mention, I had already changed my mind twice about the theme and look of our big day. Needless to say, we hired Amy immediately after meeting her! I checked out recent events and functions she had styled and I said “I HAVE to HAVE her style our wedding!” and boy did she style it! I finally decided that I wanted to do the Vintage Chic look with lots of antiques, rustic décor, and amazing unique details. Just by telling her a few things, Amy came up with 3 separate design boards and descriptions that instantly blew me away. From there we decided on one that fit our wants and desires and from that point on she was running full speed ahead! Amy designed our Wedding invitations, Program fans, Rehearsal Dinner invitations, and Thank-you notes that were placed at each place setting. She also helped me choose our cake design, consulted with my florist, bought tons of décor, from vases to fabric to candle holders, designed an amazing photobooth, that I had no idea about until the day of the wedding, folded napkins and set up the whole layout of the yard and tent! Amy did so much more then we had expected and she was most definitely my right hand lady in the planning of our wedding. We could not have asked for a more genuine, professional, hard-working, and helpful stylist to bring out what we wanted in our special day! On the day of the wedding, as the bridal party returned from the salon, my mother and I walked out of the front door, having no idea what we were going to see, and we immediately started to cry! The transformation of my childhood front lawn was a dream! Gorgeous, beautiful, and surreal do not even describe how absolutely amazing everything looked! It was far from what I had ever drawn up in my own thoughts and it made our day beyond spectacular! Even my husband was blown away with all of the details. It was stunningly perfect! We can’t thank Amy and Style by Design enough for making it the absolute best day of our lives!
