Because it's convenient to where I work I've tried everything from their cookies, cakes, pastries, and breads, and it's all been pretty good but this place lacks in customer service. Of all the times I have stopped here to get something there has only ever been 1 employee that smiled and was actually cheerful and nice when taking my order and ringing me up. All the others I have talked to have had an attitude or act like they don't want to be working there. My last visit this week was pretty bad. She handled my pastries without any gloves, touching the sides with her fingers and then when boxing everything to go I realized the goods were all over the place and crumbled up. I ordered several things to share with coworkers and they were also surprised that they boxed it that way. Sorry but I don't know if I'll be coming back anytime soon. I have had friendlier service at the Harris Teeter bakery in the same shopping center.

We visited Suarez Bakery today.. biggest disappointment .. way over priced...the lemon squares were old and the snowflake sugar cookies were over baked and tasteless, chocolate chip cookies were hard as a brick and oh my goodness, we just tried the creamhorn and it was just average.. hard as well!  We spent a lot of money on this less than edible desserts.  I can’t help but add to this review.. while we were in there, a lady had just left and came back to tell the worker that one of her donuts wasn’t in the box and the worker ask if she had the receipt, the lady didn’t so they started looking up by her debt card.. oh my goodness.. couldn’t you just have believed the customer, I’m sure the donut wasn’t any better than the 6 different items we purchased...verdict is still out on the ginger/molasses cookie.. scared to try it!  I will say the wedding cookie had a good taste but hard as a brick as well! Won’t bother coming back!

Went here for the very first time this weekend, and I can actually say they are now my new favorite "go-to" place for anything and everything. We got just about 1 of everything. From the frosted sugar cookies to the pecan bar, to the cream horn, and finally to the Strawberry Chiffon and Coconut cakes, everything we tried was an absolute do-over. I am 100% convinced that there is nothing you can try here that will not live up to the high expectations I now have when it comes to sweet treats. Highly recommend coming here, it was quite an experience.

Great little Bakery. Bought my sons birthday cake there last minute. It was the 8" Red Velvet. They even took the time to put Happy Birthday on the cake for me! I will be back for sure. Thank you!

I've been purchasing sweet treats from Suárez Bakery for years. I decided to check them out as a vendor for my wedding. This was the first and last place I checked. I filled out an online form and was contacted the same day to set up a consultation/tasting. I was able to try multiple flavors and was given various options for cake types and designs. I pieced together a few looks from Pinterest (and in my head) for how I envisioned my cake. Without any hesitation, she drew up a sketch and promised to make it happen! I decided on a smaller 3 tier cake and an assortment of cupcakes. The decorations were perfect and I was shocked at how reasonably priced everything came out to be. They were flexible on my delivery times. Having an evening wedding, I requested a late delivery and they were able to accommodate. 
The cake and cupcakes were absolutely delicious! Guests were lining up to take some home! I would definitely recommend Suárez Bakery to any bride or anyone looking for sweet treats for any event.
