I love this place.... (granted, I haven't been there in a few months because I now live in SLC), but it one of the few ones left that are still open. My favorite is Premium Amaretto with Brownies... the brownies aren't the greatest in the world, but the ice cream is still delicious. I wish I could have SubZero at my house ALL THE TIME.

Chocolate flakes? I'm sorry. Where? Oh you mean chocolate chips! There is actually a huge difference in taste and texture, and if you think it doesn't matter you probably shouldn't  be selling "fancy" ice cream. Not to mention, the huge sense of entitlement. Don't touch the glass because it scares the add-ins. REALLY!!! GET YOUR LAZY ASSES AROUND THE COUNTER AND WIPE IT DOWN LIKE EVERY GENERATION BEFORE YOU! Then at the end you are met with a tip jar. I'm sorry. This is your job for which your are paid. THAT'S YOUR TIP. You're NOT waitressing.

My first time at this chain, and probably my last. Its sole appeal, as far as I can tell, is the novelty concept of watching ice cream get made with a nitrogen blast. I had the coconut milk base with butter pecan "flavor," and it really didn't taste anything like butter pecan. Maybe the other bases are better. The end result was just okay, nothing great. Not at all worth the price.

We love this place. As a college student, I used to go every Sunday.  There has never been, nor will there ever be a place like sub zero!
