I went to the Heritage diner this past weekend with a friend. After we got out he wanted to see the small park with the exhibits. I knew them all by heart as I have been there many times and photographed them as well. To my astonishment, I saw everything was gone...the PBR, the Kaitan, the Seahund and all the missile mock ups they had there. I went into the museum to ask what had happened and was met by a troll of a woman who was more nasty than helpful. She had to call some other guy who supposedly knew the story. He was a dick as well and brushed us off in good fashion. Pity how scummy people could act for no good reason.

I visited the boat two weeks after she first went on display , and I pointed out to the tourguide that the vent valve levers were not locked, and if someone grabbed the wrong thing the boat could roll over to the center of the river. They fixed that in a hurry. The volunteers do a great job and I was sad to see so much damage done by hurricane sandy.

It was nice to be able to walk all the way through the submarine. They have guided tours which made it much more interesting. If you are board one weekend it can kill off two hours easy
