Surly Indian ladies and they don't accept Subway coupons at this store. I've made the mistake of coming here twice...never again. Btw, none of the 4 Subways in Emeryville/Berkeley (9th St) accept Subway coupons. Shady!

Rude service...worst experience I have ever had anywhere....was actually yelled at by the employee when I tried to use their SMS coupon. I was so embarrassed and there were others in the store as well. I called the store manager and ended up getting the difference back in cash but only after having to take extra time to explain it..as the employee made sure to go in the back and call the manager on her personal cell phone before I ate and called her to complain. Only an employee in the wrong would run to the back and call a manager... to make sure she got her side of the story in first.. with a store full of customers waiting to be helped. Will never go back! Now I will need a new quick lunch spot for when I am in area for work once a month.

I came to the venue and showed them a coupon for a sandwich. The artist then stated she understood, made the sandwich, then told me that it wasnt valid for the coupon. Very frustrating.

Its there, its cheap, its subway, so I go there on occasion, but even compared to other Subways, this location is below average. Serves the Amtrak and local businesses.

I know its just a sandwhich, but there are other Subways which clearly put a lot more effort into making something better than what is made here.
