The lady who was working here 10/16 this morning was so rude! She gave a vibe where I just wanted to walk out and not even order from there. I asked for the soup of the day and she said it’s always down there as she points to the sign. Well I can’t see it because it’s below eye level . My bad for not searching for the sign. Also when asked if I wanted a sandwich I had to think about it because I walked in solely for soup. She was very rude and in a rush because she had to prep for lunch. Who’s fault is it that you aren’t doing your job in a timely manner? Not mine . I would reconsider her customer service at this location. And she didn’t even give me my receipt. Horrible .

Last time I went in, the ownership put up a sign stating that they couldn't participate in a national promotion because minimum wage was too high.  What a crock!  The ownership clearly knows nothing about how to actually run a business, or they could work out the per sandwich cost to be very low.  But why do that when you can blame your staff for your failings as a franchisee?  Food is typical of Subway, but they skimp on toppings unless you ask for extra.  I assume this is coaching from this same franchisee.  I can't in good conscience spend money with someone like that.

The food was alright, however I found myself put off by the behavior of the people working.  There were two older ladies and a younger man, and one of the ladies began to chew out the man, in front of several customers, for "shorting customers on the meat".  And while I understand thats an issue, it is highly unprofessional to do that in front of customers.

This is my favorite Subway in the greater Olympia area - I'd happily give five stars for the consistent quality of the sandwiches and the friendliness of the employees, but I'm greatly disappointed that they no longer have a daily footlong sandwich for $6. I know I can't be the only person who only wants whole sandwiches without meal accoutrements, and still wants a deal! But I've eaten at every Subway in Olympia, Lacey and Tumwater and can say that on all other fronts, this store consistently gives me the best experiences and the best sandwiches.
