The female associate that started my order, seemed distracted and as if she was being bothered. She assumed I only wanted one item and quickly got her male associate to finish my order.
Two guys walked in not 5 mins later, obviously a friend of the girl and the clerk for the gas station.
The friend was helped immediately and all were engaged in a non English conversation, followed by laughter.  The gentleman being assisted had her attention by showing her a video on his phone.
The male associate was nice yet distracted by the others in the lobby.  He did wish me a good night.  That was the most customer service given in my visit.  
As I left, I saw the clerk outside talking to his friend.
Eye contact and a smile go along way....
