I was staying at the hotel behind this subway for a couple of weeks, my car had just broken down, so I came into this subway to sit, think and clear my head before deciding on what to eat. The staff who was there at the time asks me if I was waiting for the bus, so I told him no and asked why he wanted to know. So he goes, "we don't allow customers to stay in here if they aren't buying". So I asked him who said that? Then he started babbling and wasn't making any sense. I felt so disrespected, now I really do not want to make it a racial issue so I can't say I know why he said what he said, but I was properly dressed, I was on my phone, by myself and I wasn't talking to anyone or disturbing anyone.  So sad... I love subway, most subway restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful but I guess you can't always have the same values across the board. He just apologized by the way and says that's what his manager wants. So I guess it's not his fault.
