CAN'T SHARE AN EXPERIENCE WHEN SUBWAY AT 1425 PORTLAND AVENUE CLOSED BY 7:34 PM, 20-25MNTS BEFORE CLOSING TIME!!!
Was going to get a sub there but changed my mind when I observed the girl walk away from the area and come back with a tub of meat and continue on without changing her gloves, made me sick.
Food is fair, at best. Service is terrible. In the midst of making my sandwich, employee stopped my order and took and started the order of the person behind me. She bounced back to mine, added a veggie. Then stopped again and continued w the person behind. Finished my order, then had me wait to check out. Finally, checking me out. In the midst of checking me out, I realized I had a coupon, and gave it to the clerk. She said it was too late as she rang me out. I asked her to void the order, but she "couldn't." I asked for the manager. The other clerk/manager said she also needed a manager, but not working today. She tried to call a manager, but "no one answered." Convenient! After all that, my tuna sandwich didn't even taste good. Crappy food, crappy service, and over paid. Unfortunately, there aren't many options in the hospital.
Food is good, but I believe that the hospital should find another fast food restaurant to put in its place. I visited 2/10/18. Manager there was awful and had a bad attitude. Over charged for extra items I didn't ask for. Took over 10 minutes to make a sub. Then my boyfriend and his father ordered and her and the other employee started to make the subs for the customers in line. behind them.
Manager fired me while wearing a party outfit at 12 o'clock in the morning. I was also fired for missing 2 days due to severe blood clots with written Doctor's excuses.
Food was what you expect from Subway. Service has been exceptional over the past 5 days that I have been here.
Arcie not sure how to spell her name is amazing and sweet. Her whole positive attitude made my day! I should say night lol
