I was coming from interstate to host my daughter's baby shower. Excellent service from quick email responses right through to the cupcakes being ready on time. And the cupcakes (girl's onesies) were perfectly baked, decorated and presented. They were totally delicious!

Not anymore! Me and my best friend have been coming to this place for a few years now. We both have moved a considerable distance away but would still make it point to come here. Typically they are usually low in stock on product. I try to understand since it's a specialty bakery and all and likely make things in small batches. However, after going in yesterday in the mid afternoon they barely had anything! You pay $2 for 1 mini cupcake. Fine take my money but all they had was hardly an assortment of flavors. There were only salty caramel (no thanks) 1 lousey birthday cake mini with sprinkles, a few pancakes with bacon topping (no thanks) and the peanut butter one with Reese's toppings. Only 2 out in the display case. Having put the effort for the drive I asked if they had more in the back to at least walk out with a four pack. It turns out that they had a few more of that flavor, at least.  But why can't they have more stock on hand or fully stock the case? With what they do have on hand? Lack of initiative from the sales person, I think. The case was so unappealing and pretty much empty. Not interest in coming here anymore at this point.

They were easy to work with via email and the order came out exactly as I ordered it, the final result was very beautiful. When I arrived I realized I had forgotten to request that a name be added to the cake but they were quick to try adding it on even though it was clear they were very busy. Staff was extremely polite and helpful every step of the way. Everyone at the baby shower adored the cake, there were a lot of questions on where I got it from.

How can it always be busy? This just shows how delicious their food/pastries are. I am always excited to visit Sugar Babies Bake Shop and I always leave satisfied, visit after visit and year after year. Over the years, they have added more locations but I am fiercely loyal to the first Sugar Babies Bake Shop I visited that's on Brand Blvd.

Horrible People. Delivered a completely ruined wedding cake, insulted the bride and only refunded $75.

To the owner: Thank you for your response but your shop did not bake and bring a duplicate cake. They brought a 4 tier fake cake with an 8 inch round for cutting. I will get a photo of the fake cake from the brides photographer for you. Accidents happen but the right thing to do would have been to refund the bride all of her money and certainly not blame her for your missing your personal appointments that day. And saying that you delivered the cake as contracted is like a bridal salon firmly stating they delivered a bridal dress as ordered even though it had rips and tears. Shame on you Sugar Babies. :(
