I got home from work tonight to find my house has been robbed I called the police at 9pm it's going on 11pm now I still have no sign of independence police. Worst experience in my life. Now i know what is happening with all my tax money. Pathetic.

I would like to thank the Sugar Creek Police Dept. For making sure our homes were kept safe after the devastating fire on Vassar Ave. Yesterday. Tyler Andachter is in critical condition at an undisclosed hospital and the next 36 hours will be touch and go. Thank you again for your kindness and generosity. May God keep each and every one of you safe. Tracy Shoate

I took my daughter to the courthouse to observe some cases for her Criminal Justice class and it was a wonderful learning experience for her! The police officers were more than accommodating to us. I really want to express our appreciation to Patsy (the court clerk) for letting us come in on such a short notice and the Honorable Judge Helm for allowing us to come up and ask him questions after court had ended.

Sloppy excuse for a p.d. Only one clerk that knows how to do her job. However she never shows up. Always has an emergency!Sugar creek is a joke in the armpit of independence. My toddler could manage a better department. Only ones who do their job is the ticket pimps (cops). Bailed a family member out, and the jackoffs couldnt even send other p.d.s the fine money before court date. Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. If i were the city, i would evaluate this department and fix this broken system
