Story

The Sugar Land Police Department is made up of 176 employees who are dedicated to improving the life of the citizens of the City of Sugar Land by reducing crime and making it the safest place to live in the United States. The Sugar Land Police Department is centrally located within the city at 1200 Highway 6 South. The building was completed in 1996 and serves as a center for police training in the area.

Mission

The Sugar Land Police Department places an emphasis on quality law enforcement, crime prevention and community policing. The overall goal of the organization is to develop partnerships and joint problem-solving techniques with the community that will increase the safety and quality of life for residents and visitors of the City of Sugar Land.

Good work shouldn't go unnoticed, officer Matt on the night shift along with another officer whom name I cannot remember,Helped me last night as I was on the side of the road with a flat tire they waited and did not leave until the tow truck Finished they were also very nice and friendly!!!! Thank you guys so much it made me feel really safe!

If I can give a negative score, I would! I was driving Sunday morning and saw Sugar Land police on an intersection. The signals were all OK, and I didn't know why they were there. Anyway, they signaled for me to stop, and I did. When they signaled for me to go, I did. (I was making a right turn with my right turn flash signal on the entire time.) The Asian-looking police (I'm Asian too, not trying to discriminate him at all.) immediately barked at me like a wolf, "This lane!!! Without killing anybody!!!" I stopped half way to listen to his barking... Then he barked again, "GO!!!" Then I turned right into the left lane... FYI, I've never had any violation of the traffic law since I started driving (8 yr ago). I don't even go over the speed limit 5 miles when nobody can see me! We tax payers give our money to these kind of unqualified, rude police officers to "protect (really?)" us! I feel like regretting for standing up for Peter Liang now, because Asian police officers bully Asians...

The cops think there bass with there uniform and squad cars real talk they don't investigate nothing New year's I got slapped three times tackled by a bouncer and arrested they said there going to charge me with fighting when I get booked in jail they said I got a public intoxication now to prove me not guilty I have to show them I wasn't intoxicated so I had told them I was not intoxicated I was angry and frustrated how I was treated there was witnesses that worked at the crime scene telling them I didn't do anything these cops threw me into the car with investigation so I had mad a police report for them to get a video footage of the problem 6 weeks later I found out my police report was turned in and the footage erased after 6 weeks now I went to the bar where the crime happen the waiter going to right a police report of what she saw all I know is I had to be a investgotors a suspect to become a dame victim I did there job for them Did I mention how cocky they act and talk it's really troubling these are the cops looking after sugar land I am ready to move out of fort bend area it doesn't have had ppl it has bad lazy cops
