This place was not worth it, and it was expensive! The service was extremely slow, we waited an hour before the chef even started to cook. The chef was also not properly trained and we didn't get the full experience on that front. We ended up being there over 2 hours and I had to ask 3 times to get the bill. The food wasn't really that great either. Paid a lot money to eat here and got mediocre food and slow service, was not worth the expense!

Always love it here. We have been going for 20 years. Best sushi in niagara falls. I would never go to any of the garbage sushi tourists traps.

Where do I start?! Resturaunt seemed so beautiful on the inside. Where it's located is very hidden, parking not clear. The rest of our experience wasn't as beautiful. Getting our drinks took a long time (15 min), hardly anyone eating there even. Then we waited a long time to finally order our food like 30 to 40 minutes. Our chef took an hour to cook the food it seemed. It was so slow and boring, they definitely need more training. I saw another chef mess up a lot too. Mistakes can happen but it happened a lot. Food wasn't tasty at all. Upgraded to fried rice which I added a ton more soy sauce for it to taste kind of like fried rice. I got an expensive filet mignot that was over and under cooked. He didn't know how to cook it at all. All in all our visit was 2 hours! The best thing that happened at this resturaunt was the people sitting with us, if it wasn't for them we would have left right away. Expensive food for very very low quality service and food. Will not return.

Suisha Gardens is the godfather of Japanese food restaurants upon which all the trendy imitations have modelled themselves. If you want an authentic Japanese food experience, this first and second generation-owned restaurant is the place to go. From the wooden waterwheel at the entrance, to the massive tree in the centre of the restaurant, you feel like you are somewhere special just walking in the door. A short walk or drive from the popular Clifton Hill area, this little gem with its unassuming exterior has a very friendly, efficient staff and a lovely menu selection. My husband and I last visited on the night of the restaurant's grand reopening, with our two small children in tow. We sat at a Teppan table, and the chef's showmanship had all four of us enthralled. The food was fresh and delicious - the shrimp we had were enormous and everything was very flavourful. We ordered homemade pan-fried gyoza (dumpling) and it was out-of-this-world good. Of course we had to sample the suishi and miso soup as well, which even our picky little eaters enjoyed! We look forward to visiting again the next time we are in Niagara Falls. Oh and as a bonus - they have a little store adjoining the restaurant where you can purchase an number of yummy take home items.

Visited this place for many years (actually a family tradition) and always loved the service and food. August 19, 2017 i took my friends there for the first time we had extremely bad service , had to ask for our rice half way through our meal and had to get up and find our own chopsticks, half way into meal asked why we didnt get our sushi appitzer yet. Horrid burnt food. Our table cook was so inexperienced and confused, also she didn't undersand English ( she was not Japanese, as you would expect at a Japanese table cooking establishment), we could see all the other tables had the food and total experience i was used to. After a ten year family tradition, our family will never go there again.😞I wouldn't even give one star, but i think that is the lowest. My first review ever, but my experience was so very bad i feel i have no other choice but to worn others.
