Summer kitchen is a pretty good place to eat if you like comfort food.  I don't recommend the chicken fried steak, it's served with way, way too much breading and a gravy that has almost no flavor.  But other than that most everything else I've tried there is pretty good, I especially like their potato casseroles.  They also have a drive thru, which is great, just make sure you call in your order in advance to save yourself the wait time.

Summer Kitchen was a very clean establishment. The servers were kind and friendly. The food came in generous serving sizes and for me personally, was enough for a second meal. On my visit, all three of us took our food for leftovers due to the large portion sizes. The food was cooked well and was served hot. The dining area is spacious and open. There are booths and tables available for seating.

The food was nicely made with a lovely atmosphere surrounding. The workers were polite and had good manners. I loved my visit and wish to go back sometime soon

Restaurant atmosphere is pretty good. Clean and new but also has a good cafe feel. I had the club sandwich, which was pretty good, though there was something missing. The cost is about average for a diner, possible towards the high end, but the quality is good. Service is friendly and accommodating, and they were fairly quick at seating us. The wait for food was about average for a sit down restaurant, but the time passed quick. Parking is accessable, and the area is visible from the street. The music might be a tad bit loud at points.

Great family restaurant. The food and employees are wonderful and I have never had a bad experience or meal when I have been here. The menu has many different options that would be appealing to anyone. The have excellent desserts and baked items that you can order while you are there or take with you to enjoy at home. Highly recommend this restaurant.
