I would rate this park a 3.5 to 3.9 it's easy to get to. Good parking,  just careful not to stay after dusk,  will lock your car in. Very large open field. Great jungle gym for the kids, its large clean and canopy covered.  A few lunch tables , clean bathroom facilities, and the landscape seem to be well maintained. Negative will be the lack of shade in the main field. Positive,  towards the south, there is a dirt road that travels to the railroad canyon and ends by canyon lake dam. Careful  this rd is an access path and may be city  private property But the run was sure fun!  The round trip is 4 miles.

Its a clean park. Bathrooms need a lil more tlc and the city needs to open it on time...

Two nice playgrounds, swings, soccer field and 2 baseball fields.  Also restrooms available

Great playground for kids.. covered so the playground doesn't get too hit or rained on. Lots of room for the kids/pets to run around. Plus bathrooms.

This park has access to a dirt road that takes you all the way to Railroad Canyon Road and even Canyon Hills Lake Dam. Wonderful mountain bike ride! Summerhill Park itself is a nice little neighborhood park with a playground, bathrooms and soccer fields. Enjoy!

Very nice local park. The play area is completely shaded which is nice in the heat of midday. The four tables and benches however are in direct sunlight. So be sure to use sunscreen. There is also a nice size grass area for running around or could accommodate a touch football or pitch and catch game.

Pretty decent park. The kids like the large field and I like that there are clean, well-stocked restrooms on site. There are also several large park benches for picnics, and the playground equipment has a shade cover.  Two disadvantages: there are only baby swings,  not swings for the big kids and there are often shady people passing through. The proximity to the freeway make the parking lot a desirable location for people to do suspicious things. Other than that, the park itself is okay.

My wife and I enjoy coming down the Hill to vist this park.  We walk and  brush the dog and have time to meet the neighbors and watch some soccer occasionally.  My problem is the disrespect some people show by not picking up their dog dropping or throwing out the trash.

This would be a great park, however there are a lot of drug deals that happen in the parking lot and it is super dirty. I have only gone in the morning during the week a handful of times and there have been numerous situations that I do not approve. We will not be back to this park.
