Story

Summit Waves opened in July 2008 as Lee's Summit's first family aquatic center featuring a 904 FOOT Action River! The outdoor water park also features two waterslides, a six lane lap pool with diving boards, a water playground area featuring mini-slides, dump buckets and more. When taking a break enjoy the concession stand with healthy items, snacks, drinks and more!

This was my first time which was an hour away. The staff was helpful and friendly. For the price you pay it's amazing in my opinion. They even have life jackets for all ages. The only reason I am leaving a 4 star is because the toddler area had a lot of bugs floating around and I'm sure some of the life guards could had taken a few minutes to clean them out.

I mow at herris park. And the park is nice. Always full of parents with kids. Good place to have fun!!

The difference a season makes! This is my review posted 2 yrs ago: Nice staff. Clean facility. Fun times! TODAY: The pool is still nice, but it's run by a band of teenagers. Their supreme leader today was a girl with a big shiny nose ring laying on her upper lip and holes in each ear big enough to see the person standing behind. I sought her out to ask of the pool's policy on street clothes allowed in the pool since several teenagers seemingly just walked up and jumped in wearing sports shorts and t-shirts. The "manager" told me that they can't tell people what to wear to the pool. I tried to tell her that most pools require their patrons to wear a swimsuit, but I had to stop before I could finish because I could not stand to look at her accessories any longer. Summit Waves has taken a dive in the way of cleanliness, clientele, and staff quality.. So it goes as all good things. :-/ My wife just told me to add that the women's restroom was atrocious.

Offers lots of different things to do for every age group. Fun time floating in the river or going down the slide or just sitting and watching the little ones play on their structure with water squirting everywhere. Plenty of lifeguards so no worries. Very relaxing and also good food

Loved zero depth pool for the kiddos. And early morning swim allowed me to have a good time with my son long before I had to report to work! Non water playgrounds just outside facility too. Win win!
