The food was alright... Quite a strange menu! I ordered the baked cod, which came with an inordinate amount of carrot mash (to the point where it felt like I was eating baby food garnished with a piece of cod), and my boyfriend ordered the pea pancake, which was very strongly advertised as the special. Do not get it! It was tough and not at all like what you would envision. I would hesitate calling it a pancake. It was more of a hash, and seasoned very poorly. I bit into it and all I could taste was pepper. The turmeric and ginger lemonade was good though. I will not be returning because the above average drinks is not enough to make up for the strange and quite frankly a little unpleasant food.

The food was nice, but the service was terrible. Every time we needed anything we had to walk over the counter to retrieve it again and again. We asked for menus, which oddly were not given to us when we were seated, and 2 different waiters forgot so we walked over to grab them. Food took almost an hour to get to the table after ordering. Once again had to ask multiple waiters for silverware after the food arrived, until finally walking over to get it myself. Asked for coffee refills... I’m sure you can guess what happened.

I wouldn’t go there again.

The golden chai with oat milk was good; owner messed up my to go order of egg and butter on a bagel and gave me butter bagel but charged me $4.00 and listed as bagel with cream cheese on my receipt. Realized it after leaving. Probably won’t return.

I usually always go into Sumner to grab a cup of coffee, but today when I went in, the waitress must have had a horrible day because she was so rude to me. She came up to me and yelled at me asking, " Do you want my boss to kill me?", repeatedly, simply for drinking my water because it was an outside beverage. I was so confused because I purchased a $5.00 drink too. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back because I was humiliated.

Incredible atmosphere. They’ve managed to perfectly balance between coffee shop and restaurant - the décor is great, the service is great, music choices set the perfect tone, and at any given moment you’ll see some folks coming for brunch, and others reading and working over coffee and tea. Bonus, the full wall of windows provides really lovely natural light. Definitely come here.
