Beautiful place as far as the nature goes. It was fun to float in the lake on a hot summer day. If you like, constant noise, dogs off leads, children screaming and tons of people, the Resort is for you. It was the middle of summer so we understand. We wish we would have stayed at the state campground instead. It seemed more our mellow style.

Great place to spend all day in the sun! You need a discover pass to park unless you are staying at the park or resort. There are two beaches, a campground, a playground, a few trails. Further into the park you can drive to places like deep lake for cliff jumping. There are lots of picnic tables and places to grill when the fire level permits.

It's an awesome site/sight where Ice Age waters created the largest waterfall in the world. Now dry, the interpretive center has artists' renderings of how the falls looked in the distant past. I shorted this place by a star because the safety fencing ends abruptly with no warning about the cliff several hundred feet high. Keep a close eye on your kids and pets.

This is a great place if you like geology, ice age history. This is the site of some well documented events that occurred near the end of the last ice age. It is fairly remote out on the high desert of Central Washington.

Pretty nice state park RV parking. Very dry indeed. Staff members are great and friendly. Tried both tent site and full hookup and both where good. Depending on your space, it can be loud or quiet depending on the area they put you at. The far far end with RV's only, its pretty quite. The center lawn area where most tent camp can be a bit rowdier but all in good fun.
