We used to really like the Sundance, and tonight was our first visit since it became an AMC.  The movie was listed on their website as starting at 7:20pm.  When we arrived, they said the website is screwed up, and the movie was at 8:35pm.  We decided to see it anyway.  At 8:45, someone went to tell the employees the movie had not started, and they seemed surprised!  Finally, at 9:10, they told us they weren't able to get it to play.  So they offered us movie passes, not refunds.  It wasn't until 3 of us insisted on refunds that they offered them to everyone.  I don't see this place staying in business very long.

12/21/17 I show up at 5:30 to catch the new star wars movie at 6:00... I get a drink, I get some popcorn, I get a commemorative star wars popcorn tin, I go get in line for the theater and they tell me that due to technical difficulties they won't be starting the movie at 6 and ask me to wait in the bar area. Cool, I get it, tech is frustrating and doesn't always work. So I go sit in the bar and eat popcorn with the large group of friends I'm meeting for this movie. Around 6:15 we check to see how things are going... they're not... we check back around 6:25... still nothing. It was at this point we were told we could get a refund in "this line here" or we could get tickets to see the 7:15 (in 3D) show in "that line over there" 

I hate 3D movies, so I'm just wanting to get my money back, so I stand in the refund line for 30+ minutes only to be told that I cannot in fact be issued a refund at the theater. I wasn't told why, they just couldn't do it. But they could offer me a whole bunch of movie passes... I'm good. I don't think I'll be using those... I've contacted AMC customer support for a refund, and we'll see how that goes. I guess if that fails I can issue a charge back through my bank, since I clearly did not get the service that I paid for.

This seems like a cool spot to catch a movie, and if everything had gone correctly (or even been handled well) tonight, I'd probably be seeing a lot of movies here in the future. Given the terrible level of service I received tonight I'll gladly drive over an hour out of my way to watch movies at the nearest Alamo Drafthouse.

I WILL NEVER GO TO AN AMC THEATER AGAIN. A COMMUNICATION ERROR WITH MY FRIEND PROMPTED HER TO PURCHASE TICKETS AT THE THEATER AFTER I HAD ALREADY PURCHASED THEM ONLINE. AMC REFUSED TO REFUND THE ONLINE PURCHASE, SO BETWEEN THE TWO OF US, WE ENDED UP PAYING $50 TO SEE THE MOVIE. BOYCOTT AMC THEATERS!! THEIR CORPORATE POLICY IS TO CHARGE YOU FOR SERVICES THAT THEY DON'T PROVIDE!!

Excellent, quiet, they validate parking and one can buy beer at the bar and enjoy it during the movie.  Good for a romantic night out.

The menu looked good. They had a good variety of delicious items. The seating was comfortable and spacious. It was unfortunate we didn't get a chance to try the food because they had just reopened after sustaining flood damage due to the hurricane. The staff was very hospitable and tried to compensate for not having the full menu available.
