Historic and impeccably maintained, the courthouse and sunken gardens are the center of downtown Santa Barbara. During the week try climbing to the top of the clock tower for a 360 degree view of Spanish-tiled roof tops from the mountains to the ocean. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner nearby and the myriad restaurants nearby.  Beautiful art and architecture throughout, this is a must-see when in SB.

Love this spot, I went and saw James Bond during the summer film festival event. The spy who loved me.. very beautiful clean lawn to stop and rest for a bit before going back to exploring beautiful Santa Barbara.

Friday night summer movie series is always a great treat!  Otherwise, it is just a part of the amazing Santa Barbara scenery that we take for granted here.

Yes it's at the court house but it's absolutely beautiful and a great place to picnic. I tend to eat my lunches here. If you're coming I to town there is a great view from the Bell tower.
