Small, but ok place to stay if you need a place

I'll start off with the good. The room 47$ because the TV was broken. And the people who run the motel are very nice. But the room we stayed in was not as near nice. 1. You slept tight, and the BEDBUGS bite. Unfortunately we found bedbugs AFTER we slept. 2. We were not allowed to open 2 of the cabinets. (Creepy) 3. The bathroom sink had no cold water. I would rather pay an extra 10$ or so for a much nicer and bigger room at a different motel.

Omg are u nuts? Place looks condeamed, they tried to give me a room someone was living in had all their clothes all over and it had NO working bathroom for the price of $45!!!

It was like being in a scary movie! I have never seen anything like this place in my entire life and I travel often. The website says free wifi and local calls. There was no wifi and how can you make calls where there are NO PHONES!? I slept with my phone on my chest in case I needed to call 911 in a hurry. The first room she took us in smelled weird and looked like the crack houses I've seen in crime movies. There were no sheets or pillow cases and the pillow was stained with lots of previous wetspots? ewe. She told me they were in the dryer and that she would be in soon to make the bed. In shock, I said there was no way I could stay in that room so she took us to a room that did have linens. However, there was a huge problem when she just pushed the door open because there was no doorknob on the door! Being from L.A. I can't sleep when the door can just be pushed open and there's a huge hole where the doorknob should be ( call me crazy!). After arguing with me for a minute about how Homedale is "completely safe" she told me she only had one more room but there was only one bed. I was with my teenage son. We asked to see it. My son and I quickly discussed whether or not it would be better to just sleep in the car (seriously) and then decided we would sleep in the same bed because we were just so tired and the next town was 3 hours away. We slept on TOP of the covers because the bed looked so dirty and brought travel pillows from the car to put our heads on. Forget toiletries, this place didn't even have towels. I asked for some and she brought me a pile of bath rugs! They were the kind they give you at other motels, but without the towels that usually go with them. The shower dirty, slimy, and gross so thats another reason we didn't shower. It was 9pm when we arrived. The small town gave me the creeps and reminded me of a place where criminals go to never be found. I was so freaked out that I woke up at least every hour. Around 4am and still dark outside, I decided we were done and could get back on the road. We literally left in the middle of the night because I couldn't take it anymore!

there is not a low enough rating for this place...there was bugs every were in our room...i have bug bites all over me this has to be the worse motel that i have ever seen. the safe was not very nice.when we got to out room the closet and cabinets were full of other people clothes and food and the freezer still had stuff in it.$54 a night is way to much for what you get here.there are more cockroaches then people in that town.i would NEVER recommend this place.NEW NAME SHOULD BE THE ROACH MOTEL
