Great place for weekend travelers! Its about a 30 minute commute to downtown Portland, with many different food spots along the way. Very convenient and affordable, the staff was helpful and friendly! Or room was very clean below, and on top of the sheets! I recommend this hotel for traveling adults and families. 5 stars, 2 thumbs, and a tip-of-the-hat my dudes!

I stayed here for 3 nights this week and was disappointed by a lot of the hotel. The price was certainly right but many of the necessities went up to par. Approximately half of the bathroom didn't work properly: the shower didn't fully drain so I had 6 inches of water at my feet by the time I was done with a quick shower, the hairdryer didn't work at all, neither did the fan in the bathroom, and the tile was coming up at the door.  The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well thankfully. The breakfast was only ok. In short: if you're on a budget Sunnyside will certainly save you money but don't expect much.

Pillow has black spots on it, they are throwing out mattresses with black spots on it, claim is that they have no bed bugs. They lost my reservation for several hours, claimed that my company didn't have any reservations, even though fellow employees already had rooms there going back several days. Deadbolt works, there is no door chain. There are 2 peepholes, 1 high and 1 low. There was a pubic hair in the shower upon arrival. All of the furnishings are outdated. The only saving grace is that the mattresses are covered, but they are also old. There are flights of stairs and no elevators for the fact that all buildings are multiple levels; 50lb suitcase. You don't need a gym here, their architecture has provided a workout for you. Water pressure, water heater, a.c. work fine; didn't try the heater. Have yet to locate the do not disturb sign. Constantly feel itchy in this room.

Alright in a pinch. Outdoor pool is small but clean, carpet was a bit stained, tile was new. Odd thing in a suite is no door between them, and no doors on the shower part of the bathroom. Privacy in the toilet, but you better know your suitemates well enough to shower in front of them.

We rented a room for a homeless young lady, the room was only $75 and when I got my credit card statement they charged me $250 plus $75.46 because they claimed that the girl smoked in the room and created smoke damage! I was not aware of this charge until I got my bank statement. BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES WITH THESE PEOPLE! You do a good deed and put someone up in a room and you get screwed by the Motel! Lovely!  They refused to refund me as well because they have signs posted, but I didn't see one sign anywhere!
