Story

Welcome to a grace place!

At Sunnyvale Church, our heart's desire is to provide an open environment to worship, share, ask questions, seek answers, get involved, help others, discover your purpose, pursue your passion, dream, grow and become all we are created to be.

Above all else, we're a place to meet with God and take Him up on His invitation; "Come, let us reason together..." (Isaiah 1:18)

You're invited to join us as we journey both collectively and individually toward all God has promised us. "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

Mission

Loving God, Blessing People, Serving the World

Our passion is to become all God created us to be through these three phrases.

Loving God:
People need love, and the source of love is God. (I John 4:7-8)
As we seek communion with God through both personal worship and corporate worship, we not only experience His healing love, we are filled with love and able to return it to Him and share it with others.

Blessing People:
Jesus teaches that as we receive freely from Him, we are to give freely, and that giving starts with His church. (Matthew 10:5-8, Acts 2:46))
We learn to give, receive and help each other first through small groups. We believe that meeting, studying, praying and socializing in small groups is how we connect and provide opportunities to bless each other. This is where we become a community and church family "knit together by love." (Colossians 2:2)

Serving the World:
As we grow closer to God we become increasingly aware of the fact that our greatest fullfilment and sense of purpose comes in helping others. This is a reflection of God's heart being recreated within us. (Matthew 20:28)
We actively seek opportunities to help both within our community and the world through service projects, assistance to those in need, and mission trips.
