Story

We are a full service veterinary clinic located at 36 Duke Street Unit #6 in beautiful Bedford Nova Scotia. We have three wonderful veterinarians, Dr. Jeff Goodall, Dr. Jennifer Marriott and Dr. Anie Levesque. Our staff consists of our office manager Kim, 2 Veterinary Technicians Michelle and Lindsay, Veterinary Assistants Lori, Erika, and Sam.
We also have a wonderful groomer, Peggy who will make your pooch look fur-tastic!
Our practice is open from Monday to Friday 8am until 8pm and Saturday from 8:30 am until 3 pm.
We have the ability to treat cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, Amphibians, ferrets - and Rabbits & small pocket pets (only with Dr. Marriott). We love them all! - including snakes, bearded dragons, and geckos.

We have a surgical as well as a therapeutic laser.
Our surgical laser replaces the scalpel blade. It seals as it cuts and reduces the amount of healing time. It decreases the amount of bleeding, swelling and discomfort associated with surgery.
The therapeutic laser is a non-medicine way of helping the body to heal wounds, ear infections and general skin infections, relieve discomfort from arthritis, degenerative disk disease, cystitis (inflammation of the bladder), sprains and strains.

Called them pretty much begging them to see our sick African Grey . Was told it was not possible because the doctor only does surgery on that day and that they don't do emergencies. It wasn't even after hours. After seeing the reviews, I am really disappointed and stunned to encounter the lack of compassion I received on the phone.
Edit to reply: yes, she provided the phone numbers. Metro doesn't see birds ( they told me so on the phone). I asked your receptionist about possibility on any time on Tuesday. She said it's not possible, because you only do surgeries. A bit odd. I can't expect animals to get sick on your clinic's schedule. I fully understand you have a life, and emergencies happen. But telling me that you will be in office, but you can't change your clinic's schedule to see a critical bird within your posted business hours isn't a good thing. 
And yes, the fact the we were willing to drive 3 hours to get  to a qualified get for our bird, should've  indicated how much we care about him  Cheers

I went to this practice after getting my first car. My first check up was free which was amazing. Their practice is clean, everyone was extremely friendly. You could tell they were all animal lovers. The waiting area was cute, had many toys for the cat to play with while you waited to see the vet.  After my cat got sick and was put down at this practice they were all very sweet and handled my tears with grace and patience. After a few weeks I got  signed card from everyone in the practice saying their condolences. What a heartwarming letter. I extremely recommend this practice.

I have never had a team or vet care on the level that Dr. Goodall and his staff does. Sometimes we go months between visits but they always remember each one of my pets. They are professional and precise they have always put the needs of the animals before their own monetary agenda. I absolutely 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in the HRM.

Have been taking our pets to Sunnyview animal care since 2001 and have always received the very best care. Dr.Godall and his staff truly care about your pet. Wouldn't go any where else.

My experience with Sunnyview Animal Care, has been nothing but a 5 star. My words to describe the staff are compassionate - for you and your pets, friendly - always smiling and happy to see you, options - you are provided with options for the health of your pet, experience - the staff have years of experience, - Clean Sunnyview Animal Care Center is very clean. My family are very lucky to have found this wonderful place. We have complete trust knowing that my little girl is given the best of care. Every person and pet that walk through the Sunnyview door are treated with the utmost respect. Thank you Dr. Goodall for the work and time you spend with us and my sick little Megan. We are blessed that you have provided us with more  quality time with our little girl and you made this happen because of the options you provided.
